Description
Mindi leads the agriculture methane team’s community and environmental justice work through active listening, stakeholder engagement and support for existing advocacy efforts. Her current work is focused on building and maintaining constructive partnerships with environmental justice groups and disadvantaged communities to better inform climate-smart agriculture solutions.
Background
Prior to joining EDF, Mindi worked at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), managing community outreach and engagement projects centered around atmospheric sciences and health. She also lived and worked in the rural Andes mountains in Peru, doing epidemiology field work on household air pollution within indigenous communities at high altitude.
