Description

With over six years of experience, Harlisa is dedicated to advancing climate-resilient fisheries management by integrating scientific, policy, and technological solutions to support sustainable practices. She brings expertise in translating scientific research into actionable strategies through collaborative document development, capacity building, and proof-of-concept initiatives that promote effective stakeholder engagement. Through strategic partnerships and science-based advocacy, Harlisa supports climate-adaptive fisheries management to contribute to the resilience of marine resources in Indonesia.

Background

Prior to joining EDF, Harlisa was a National Project Assistant at the Food and Agriculture Organization (UN-FAO) for Mainstreaming Biodiversity Conservation for Inland Fisheries Project in Indonesia.

Harlisa earned her master’s degree in Marine and Fisheries Technology from IPB University.
