Description

Kae Tuitt is a project manager with the Environmental Defense Fund’s zero-emission truck initiative. She works with companies operating heavy-duty fleets to identify and document best practices for electrification, provide transition planning guidance and secure zero-emission fleet commitments. With a focus on outreach, Kae manages relationships with fleet owners and helps identify fleets interested in supporting key policies related to EVs and charging infrastructure. Kae is currently developing a series of case studies highlighting the success of private fleets that are overcoming challenges as they work to electrify fleet vehicles.

Background

Before joining EDF, Kae worked with a transportation non-profit supporting medium- and heavy-duty ZEV smart deployments and transition planning projects for transit agencies across the United States. She provided project management, technical, developmental and analytical support for projects deploying battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, as well as related fueling and charging infrastructure. Kae holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University, New York, where she studied multimedia journalism with a concentration in environmental science.
