Her confirmation today is a personal triumph, an historic moment for our country, and a reminder of the importance of the Court. The rule of law is the foundation of our democracy and is essential to clean air, clean water, and a safe climate. Environmental Defense Fund welcomes the vote that will seat Ketanji Brown Jackson as our nation’s 116th Justice and the first Black woman on our highest Court.”
