Watch: EDF China launches air quality mobile monitoring challenge
See how EDF China’s Mobile Monitoring Challenge tested multiple technologies to drive air quality solutions. The instruments tested included low-cost sensors carried by drones, private and commercial vehicles and specially modified vehicles with on-board LIDAR.
This allowed local authorities to confirm over 70 hotspots, based on 96 areas with potential pollutant emission sources identified throughout the competition.
