Description
Milloni plays a key role in supporting both the strategic and operational functions of the Global Engagement and Partnerships team. She focuses on strengthening EDF's organizational alignment within multilateral forums, leveraging internal partnerships, contributing to thought leadership, and providing expertise in project management and strategic analysis.
Background
Before joining the Environmental Defense Fund, Milloni served as a development intern at the World Resources Institute, focusing on prospect research, strategic support, and multilateral engagement. Concurrently, she worked with the Self-Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) as a graduate consultant, assessing the impacts of climate change on informal sector workers.
Before moving to the US, Milloni also held the position of Chief Minister's Fellow for the Government of Maharashtra, where she worked on enhancing livelihood opportunities and education access for tribal communities. Previously, she was a management consultant at Kearney.
With this diverse experience, Milloni brings a comprehensive understanding of the Global South and an intersectional approach, combining strategy, project management, and sectoral expertise to her work at EDF.

- Master’s in public administration from School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), Columbia University
- Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Arts (Young India Fellowship) at Ashoka University, India
- BA in economics and statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India
