Description
Magdalen engages in regulatory proceedings before state public utility commissions, advocating for smart long-term gas planning, challenging utility investments in unnecessary gas infrastructure, and supporting community engagement in energy policy development and implementation. She also advocates before the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration for federal policies that reduce methane emissions from natural gas distribution systems.
Background
Before joining EDF as a legal fellow in 2022, Magdalen had spent her 2L summer at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation working on climate, air, and energy issues. In law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham International Law Journal, Volume XLV.
