Our goal is to help China significantly reduce its carbon emissions by 2035. We’ll do this by promoting the transition to clean energy at China’s Yellow River energy basin, driving growth in climate tech innovation and using market-based solutions to slash emissions across industries.
Our work
Over the past two decades, we’ve helped China establish a variety of market-based incentives to cut emissions and improve enforcement efficiency. Because of this work, EDF has served as an advisor on China’s highest international advisory body on the environment.
